MoCCA (Modular Content Creation & Authoring) simplifies lesson creation with an intuitive, all-in-one platform. Easy-to-use gadgets and rapid prototyping let teachers quickly build and test lessons. Fully responsive and accessible, MoCCA ensures seamless use across devices for inclusive learning.
Problem Statement
Teachers need a simple, all-in-one authoring tool that fits their time-constrained classrooms. Existing platforms are too complex, requiring technical skills and extra effort to create accessible lessons. MoCCA streamlines content creation with an intuitive, easy-to-use platform that supports rapid prototyping and ensures lessons are responsive and accessible—all in one place.

The Team and Our Approach
We built MoCCA with teachers in mind, conducting extensive research to understand their biggest challenges. Educators wanted a simple, efficient, all-in-one tool that wouldn’t add to their workload—so we designed MoCCA to meet those needs.
Content and Platform Mapping
Mapping existing teacher content to MoCCA required months of research, analysis, and collaboration with authors, mathematicians, and instructional designers. We carefully selected and transitioned content to ensure MoCCA preserved the integrity of the materials teachers know and love.
Research Leadership
We took a user-centered approach, prioritizing ease of use, accessibility, and classroom integration. By collaborating with teachers and refining features based on their feedback, we ensured MoCCA is intuitive and practical—helping educators focus on their students, not the technology.
